"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." - James 1:27

Here at Covenant we have a strong partnership to the Domboshava Children’s Home in Zimbabwe. This weekend we got to hear from Pastor Amos and Pastor Peter about thier ministry to these orphans, their hearts for Jesus, and the needs that they are currently facing. Right now there are two main needs; Support for each child already in the home as well as a need for transitional housing for when the children Age-Out.

Support a Child

Currently there are 14 children from ages 2 to 14 who need support. We've set up a page with so that you can see each child, their interests, needs, and for you to be able to put a face to the name of the person that you have chosen to pray for and support financially. Support the Age-Out Home

Our desire is to purchase a transitional house for children who are aging outof the children’s home and more secure housingfor their principal caregivers: Peter and Tsitsi Kanetsa.  Because of the previous generosity of Covenant members, we already have accumulated a down payment of almost $40,000 toward the estimated cost of $250,000 needed to purchase a home for the age-out children of Domboshava.

* “Aging Out” – when children reach age 18, by law, they must leave the children’s home.
