Jesus was intentional about showing his love for children and, like him, we joyfully welcome all children into our Covenant community! We intentionally seek to meet children where they are, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that helps them come to know, love, and serve Jesus. Parents entrust us with their children, and we take that seriously!
We offer interactive lessons based on Gospel truths instead of moral teachings. Covenant Childrens Ministry is designed to be fun and interactive – providing a safe environment for children of all ages to experience Jesus through creative, and hands-on activities. In Children’s Ministry, we offer a safe environment where students will experience the joy and adventure of serving, worshiping, knowing, and loving Jesus.

SHAPE || Grades 1-5 || Wednesdays 6:30-8:00PM
Shape is our mid-week program for our children designed for fun, fellowship, and growing in our faith! We seek to meet children where they are, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that helps them come to know, love, and serve Jesus in community.
WEEKENDS
Sundays at 9 & 10:45am | Birth - 3rd Grade
Sundays at 9AM | 4th & 5th Grade (Except 1st Sundays of the month)
On weekends we take children on a journey through the Bible, unfolding God’s BIG STORY and discovering how every story, passage and book points to the BIG MOMENT: JESUS! We have classes that contextualize each week's lesson for their age and life stage and screened leaders who love to spend time with children. Come connect with us in the Children Center (lower level) on Sunday mornings.
SAFETY
Safety is a top priority for our little ones! All volunteers and staff are screened through state and national criminal and child abuse background check programs and are trained regularly in the recognition and prevention of child abuse as well as health and safety procedures.
- Volunteers and staff are thoroughly screened, vetted, and trained.
- Childrens Center is kept secure from non-background checked adults.
- Teachers are CPR certified.
- Classrooms and toys are clean
- Snacks are peanut-free
- Check-in system is easy to use and provides the highest level of security.
- We are also taking many extra precautions to help stop the spread of COVID-19
KID SUPPORT
Children’s Ministry is committed to partnering with families and children with differing abilities and needs. We strive to have an inclusive program where every child feels successful, included, and loved! Our program includes family partnership and planning, classroom buddies, one-on-one aides, classroom and bathroom accessibility, as well as sensory support equipment. We now have a Sensory Room where children can go if they feel overwhelmed or anxious to find peace again.
