COVENANT STUDENTS

Covenant Students is a place that we want every student to feel like they belong and connect with a caring adult who believes in them.

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up..." - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Welcome to Covenant Students!

Hello Students & Parents,

We have officially reached the yellow phase! As we have been planning this summer, we know that students have missed the opportunity to connect in person.
That is why we are so excited that we are now able to meet in groups of 25 or less. Here is our plan for Covenant Students this summer!

HOW IT WILL WORK:

We will be gathering as small groups at Covenant Church every other week starting on June 14th in the months of June and July.

Our gatherings will be from 6:30 pm-7:45 pm with staggered drop-off and pick-up times:

Middle School: Drop-Off 6:30pm  / Pick-Up: 7:35pm

High School Drop-Off: 6:40pm / Pick-Up: 7:45pm

Students will be spread throughout the church in spaces that provide ample space for their small groups (no large group time).
We will encourage all students to wear maks and maintain an appropriate distance from their peers (6 feet). We will not play any games that require physical contact or serve any food.
All adult small group leaders will be required to wear masks and will be asked screening questions before volunteering.

IS THERE ANY ONLINE OPTION?

We know that everyone might not be comfortable meeting in person just yet. That's why we are offering an online Zoom small group during any CS night from 4-4:45pm. Let us know you are interested in being a part of an online small group by clicking the link below and filling out the simple form. After that, we will send you the link for the Zoom call.

WHAT IS THE FOCUS OF THIS SUMMER?

This summer our big focus will be on connection and relationships. We know that we all need community and the last few months may have made us feel isolated. Our goal of each gathering is to make it interactive and relational.

We are excited about the possibility of ending our summer season by going to Harvey Cedars summer camp. As of now, we are still planning on going and think this would be an excellent way to end our summer.

What better way to end summer than spending 4 days at camp going to the beach, making new friends, growing closer to God, and having a ton of fun!

HIGH SCHOOL

Covenant High School

SUNDAYS 6:30-8:30pm at Covenant

What is Covenant High School? CHS is our environment for students in grades 9-12.  The high school years are where students are figuring out who they are and what they believe. CHS is a place where students will experience authentic community, lots of fun, relevant teaching, and a place they can call home. Our gatherings create fun and high-energy experiences that students will want to bring their friends to.

At CHS our goal is for high school students to have a place where they belong and are challenged to be more like Jesus! We have new students come every week to CS so feel free to just stop by and we will help check you in, show you around and meet a few new friends! Join us at CS on Sunday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm at Covenant Church.

What does a typical night look like at CHS?

We begin with some time to hangout, play games and make new friends. After hang time, we gather together for worship and an interactive and applicable message from the Bible that helps high school & middle students live out their faith in their daily life.

After large group, students break into small groups led by 2 adult leaders. Each group is separated by gender. Small groups are where students are able to grow deeper in their relationships with each other and God. They can ask questions and share what’s going on in their life.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Covenant Middle School

SUNDAYS 6:30-8:30pm at Covenant

What is Covenant Middle School? CMS is our environment for students in grades 7&8. The Middle School years can be some of the most exciting and confusing times for students. CMS sets out to provide safe environments where students can learn how to navigate these formative years.

Our gatherings create fun and high-energy experiences that students will want to bring their friends to. Gatherings will contain crazy games, relevant teaching, and small group discussions with a supportive leader and a group of their peers. Once there, students can always expect to feel accepted just as they are while being challenged by Jesus to live differently. We have new students come every week to CS so feel free to just stop by and we will help check you in, show you around and meet a few new friends! Hope to see you at CS on Sunday night!
